The margin of victory was 18 hundredths to second-placed Leonie Raich, Austria.

SVT writes that Cornelia Öhlund led after the first run, but then lost the lead and was 35 hundredths behind at the second intermediate time.

Then came a final spurt that knocked out the competitors.

It was close to being a Swedish bronze as well through Esther Nordberg, but it was 26 hundredths short of Natalie Falch, Austria, who snatched third place.

Nordberg had to settle for fourth place.

The 19-year-old talent Cornelia Öhlund, who competes for Åre, has already made an impact as a senior.

She finished fifth in the World Cup competition in Sestriere just over a week ago after moving up 18 places in the second run.

Öhlund has had an eventful season, where she broke her left thumb during a training session at the beginning of 2025, but still competed in the World Cup with a special protection.

Cornelia Öhlund also competed in the slalom event at the World Championship in Saalbach in February and finished eleventh.

This weekend, she will compete in the giant slalom and slalom events in the Alpine World Cup – at home in Åre.
