"According to the district court's ruling, it is clear that it would have been detrimental to Sweden's security if the information had come into the hands of a foreign power," the Security Service writes.
According to the verdict, the crime is said to have occurred during the period from April 10 to May 28, 2021. The penalty will be a suspended sentence and a 200-day fine.
The preliminary investigation was conducted by the Security Service under the leadership of prosecutors at the National Unit for Security Cases.
