Falk, 53, was originally arrested in Spain in August 2024 and later extradited to Sweden for trial. Spain’s condition at the time was that he be returned there if he is needed in other Spanish legal proceedings. That is the case now.
He will participate in a fairly large drug case during the autumn and into the winter, Lars Lindman at the Swedish Public Prosecutor's Office tells TT.
Falk was sentenced this summer to 14 years in prison in a case in which he is linked to extensive cocaine shipments from South America. When the appeal hearing in the case begins, Falk will participate via link from Spain.
He will also serve his Swedish prison sentence in Spain.
