Kneecap has become very controversial for their political stances. Among other things, one of the members was charged with terrorism offences in the UK after waving a Hezbollah flag during a concert in London in 2024.
However, the lawsuit was dismissed by the court because it was filed one day after the statute of limitations had expired. An upcoming US tour had to be canceled.
The last time Kneecap played in Sweden was at the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg last year.
