During the opening trading session on Wednesday, the stock markets continued their rise.
Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 2.6 percent at the lunchtime close, while the broader Topix was up 2.4 percent.
In South Korea, the Kospi was up 1.6 percent.
The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng had a smaller rise of 0.2 percent, while China's Shenzhen and Shanghai rose by 1.5 and 0.9 percent, respectively.
