Tuesday's gains are continuing in Asian morning trading. South Korea's Kospi, which has seen significant swings since the Iran war began, is up 3.5 percent on Wednesday.
In Tokyo, Japan, indices are also rising. The Nikkei 225 is climbing 2.5 percent and the broader Topix is up 2.0 percent.
In China, market movements are more cautious. The Shanghai Stock Exchange is up 0.4 percent while its Shenzhen counterpart is up 0.9 percent.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 0.1 percent.
