For a few days now, a signal fault on the red line between Slussen and Gamla stan has caused major disruptions to the metro. German experts are assisting Greater Stockholm Public Transport. But the problem is difficult to solve and trains are still running at reduced speed on Tuesday morning.
To avoid queues and consequent disruptions, we have had to thin out traffic and are therefore cancelling several departures, says Karolina Wichman at SL's press service.
Shortly after 7 a.m., a fault also occurred on the Green Line, resulting in delays.
There is a shortage of trams on the cross-city line, which means that seven of 19 services are being operated with only one tram.
