After the game, superstar Connor McDavid was asked whether he had expected it to be so tough to win the big titles in his career.
McDavid was compared to Gretzky and Crosby - both of whom have won Stanley Cups and gold medals.
"The conversation could have been different if things had gone a little differently. It's hard to win," McDavid said.
McDavid's Canada played in the final of the Olympics in Italy, but the USA stood in the way after Jack Hughes' sudden-death goal.
