"I think the feeling is good. When there are only 16 teams left, there are actually no easy draws. It's just nuances, but we're really looking forward to this", says the Swedish Basketball Federation's sports manager Lasse Johansson in a press release.
Sweden went through the qualifying round undefeated for the first time in history and is making its first European Championship final since 2021, when the Swedish team finished eighth.
Sweden met Great Britain in the qualifying round and won both matches.
The European Championship takes place on June 18-29 and is co-hosted by the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, and Italy. Sweden's group will be played in Hamburg.
The final will be decided in Greece, where the two best teams from the four groups of four will advance.
