Björn made a comeback for her club team Chelsea when she was brought on as a substitute in the League Cup final, but was forced to be taken off again just minutes later with a new injury.
The 28-year-old is therefore likely to miss Sweden's remaining World Cup qualifying matches in the coming months. Sweden next meets Denmark on April 14 at Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg.
Only the top team in the group will go directly to the 2027 World Cup. Both Denmark and Sweden have four points after two games - Italy and Serbia have one point each. The qualifiers end in early June.
