After more than two months of competition break, Ludvig Åberg is pegging up again next week.
The Swedish world number five will play The RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia, where he comes as defending champion after taking his only PGA tour win so far in last year's edition of the tournament.
"Really looking forward to The RSM Classic next week", Åberg writes on Instagram, where a film clip shows him hitting an iron shot on the driving range.
Åberg, who turned 25 years old last week, operated on the meniscus in his left knee at the beginning of September. The rehabilitation is reported to have gone well, but Åberg still chose to delay his comeback a bit. Therefore, he did not participate in the two final tournaments on the DP World Tour, formerly the European Tour, in Abu Dhabi last week and Dubai this week.
