He didn't get to stay in Manchester United – but Ruud van Nistelrooy is staying in the Premier League.
The Dutchman is Leicester's new coach.
"I'm proud and exhilarated", he says to the club's website.
The 48-year-old replaces fired Steve Cooper and has signed a contract that runs until June 2027.
The former striker returned to Manchester United last summer and temporarily took over as coach when Erik ten Hag was fired in October. However, he didn't get to stay in new Rúben Amorim's staff.
Ruud van Nistelrooy leads his new team already on Saturday, when Leicester meets Brentford away.
