It was a stop in train traffic south of Stockholm on Monday, reports P4 Stockholm. Just before 1 pm the problem was solved. Approximately 25 trains, in addition to commuter trains, are affected, so there may be some delays, says Daniel Axelsson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.

The stop, which was caused by a problem with a fuse in a signal cabinet, was between Årstaberg and Älvsjö.

We have replaced the fuse and now the trains are running as they should, both commuter trains and long-distance trains, says Daniel Axelsson.

Both commuter trains, long-distance trains, and some freight trains came to a complete standstill between 10:30 am and just before 1 pm on Monday.

Initially, the Swedish Transport Administration believed it was a matter of downed overhead wires.
