Scandinavian Content Group, which has been behind films and series for SVT, TV4, Netflix and HBO, among others, was declared bankrupt in October.
We are in the middle of this, so I have no comments until this is over, CEO Hans Engholm tells DN , which first reported on the bankruptcy.
Among the productions are SVT's "Flykten till Östermalm" and the Netflix series about Clark Olofsson. The company is also behind Ulf Malmro's upcoming feature film "Grannfejden", scheduled to premiere in February.
According to Hans Engholm, the bankruptcy does not affect any ongoing production. Ulf Malmros tells TT that "Grannfejden", the director's first film since 2016, has been completed "a long time ago" and that he is not worried.
I know exactly how it is. It doesn't affect anything.
The film, inspired by Prime Minister Göran Persson's neighborly feud in Sörmland, stars Kjell Bergqvist, Robert Gustafsson and Tuva Novotny, among others.
