The festival initially had difficulty finding venues, but is now taking place at the Palladium April 18–20, when nine films from Sweden, the USA, Israel and Hungary will be screened.
American Daniel Robbins' "Bad Shabbos" is about David and Meg, whose parents are about to meet for the first time when a death completely derails the family dinner.
The festival will also screen Helene Berg and Isabella A. Johanson's short film "Five gefiltes" about a classic Jewish dish, as well as Suzanne Kaplan's newly produced documentary "The Tailors from Novorzev," about two helpful Russian Jewish brothers who came to Sweden in 1906 and started a successful clothing company.
