On the London Commodity Exchange, the price of robusta coffee fell by 1.7 percent due to strong exports from Vietnam and an expected oversupply of coffee on the world market.
The price of the Arabica bean is also falling, down 2 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
New statistics show that coffee shipments from Vietnam were 13 percent higher in March than in the same month last year.
In Brazil, record harvests are expected for the 2026/2027 season.
