Cocaine has been found among bananas in twelve Danish food stores. This is confirmed by the Danish National Police (NSK) to the news agency Ritzau.
On Wednesday, NSK released the news about the unexpected findings made at the Coop retail chain in several locations on Zealand. According to the police, it is about large quantities of cocaine that have been seized, but how many kilos it is about they do not want to tell for reasons of investigation.
NSK is cooperating with Coop to investigate how the cocaine ended up in the banana deliveries. The Danish police have also taken help from the European police cooperation Europol.
