"His untimely passing is a great loss for the entire football community. The Football Association of Serbia expresses its deepest condolences to Zizovic's family, the members of FK Radnicki 1923, and to all friends and admirers who appreciated him and his work," the Serbian Football Association wrote in a statement.
The match had been going on for 20 minutes when Zizovic collapsed. Play resumed, but shortly before half-time it was announced at the stadium that the coach had died and the match was abandoned.
Zizovic has previously coached clubs in Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Saudi Arabia and made three international appearances for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
