An analysis of satellite imagery shows that Iran has excavated 50 of the 69 tunnel entrances to 18 underground missile sites that had been damaged. Important roads have also been restored.

If the war resumes, it means Iran has significant capacity to strike back, Sam Lair, an expert on Iran's missile program at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, told CNN.

Nothing prevents the missile ramps from being loaded with the large stockpile of missiles that the Iranians still have.

Lair warns that the costly bombings, which have certainly delivered "tactical success", may ultimately be seen as a "strategic failure" due to the lack of achievable war goals.
