"After a weak start to the year, it is gratifying that we are now seeing such a clear upswing for the industry. When spring finally arrived and the temperatures rose, consumers' desire to update their wardrobes also increased," says Sofia Larsen, CEO of Svensk Handel, in a press release.
E-commerce increased by 10.1 percent for clothing and 18.3 percent for shoes. Physical commerce rose by 5.0 and 4.0 percent, respectively.
