The confectionery manufacturer Cloetta increases its profit. For the second quarter, the profit result before tax was 153 million kronor, a 35 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year.
This at the same time as sales increased by 2 percent to almost 2.1 billion kronor.
"We delivered strong growth – in addition to the expected sales effect of Easter – and continued to improve profitability", writes the company's CEO Katarina Tell in the interim report.
