However, net sales rose only marginally, up 0.4 percent to SEK 2.1 billion.
Reduced revenue from bulk candy - down to SEK 616 million from SEK 646 million in the same period last year - is dampening growth.
CEO Katarina Tell points out that the early Easter weekend this year had a negative impact on bulk candy sales.
"Organic sales growth for the quarter amounted to 0.8 percent, despite the expected effect of the earlier Easter on loose-weight candy," she writes in a comment in the interim report.
