Former President Bill Clinton, who appears prominently in the Epstein documents released so far, is now demanding that all material related to him be released by the US Department of Justice.

"What the Justice Department has released so far, and the way it has done so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected. We don't know who, what, or why," Clinton spokesperson Angel Ureña wrote in a statement, adding:

“But this we know: We don’t need such protection.”

Since Friday, the Department of Justice has released thousands of documents and images related to the investigation into the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Critics point out that only a small portion of the material has been released and that President Donald Trump barely appears, despite his long association with Epstein. Many of the documents are also partially or completely redacted. In contrast, Democrat Bill Clinton is clearly visible in several newly released photos.

Against this background, the Clinton camp is urging Trump to order Attorney General Pam Bondi to now uncover all remaining material about Clinton.

"Refusing to do so will confirm the widespread suspicion that the Justice Department's actions so far have not been about transparency, but about insinuations," writes Angel Ureña.

Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer, Senate Democratic leader, says he intends to ask the Senate to take legal action against the Justice Department for its "refusal to release all Epstein documents."

"The American people deserve full transparency," Schumer writes on X.
