Employees at Clas Ohlson's warehouse in Insjön in Leksand municipality have until October 14 to sign a new agreement. Otherwise, the company threatens with termination, reports the newspaper Arbetet.

Some employees may lose 5,000 kronor a month because of this, says Handels' representative, Stefan Viknersson to the magazine.

The background is that warehouse workers have several local benefits in addition to those included in Handels' collective agreement, including a so-called performance-based salary based on how Clas Ohlson is doing. The company management now wants to abolish this.

I am surprised that they choose to do it this way. It would be one thing if the company was doing very badly, but to do this when the company is doing so well is extremely strange, says Stefan Viknersson to Arbetet.

It is not a matter we take lightly and I have full understanding that one feels anxious. We are doing this to be able to stay in Insjön in the long term, says the company's communications manager Niklas Carlsson to Arbetet.
