Clas Ohlson's sales increased to 814 million kronor in April, an increase of 4 percent. The negative currency impact was 3 percent, according to a press release from the retail chain.

Additionally, there is a negative calendar effect due to Easter.

"As previously communicated, Easter's timing had a positive impact on sales in March, and in April, the effect was consequently the opposite, with a negative calendar effect of minus 4 percentage points", writes CEO Kristofer Tonström in a comment.

The number of stores has increased by 11 stores compared to a year earlier, to a total of 241 stores.
