After two sold-out summers, the village play is back on the Ångermanland coast for one last season, the organizers announced in a press release.
This time it features Clara Henry in one of the roles.
The story is based on Tomas Ledin's own family history and the Grammy-winning album "Höga Kusten".
The plot revolves around Ledin's grandfather Jonas, who was auctioned off as a child and meets Svea, the daughter of the local farmer.
The village play premieres at the High Coast Open Air Theatre in Lövvik on July 2 and runs until August 2.
Behind the performance are, in addition to Tomas Ledin, Pär Nymark (script), Markus Virta (director), and Nils-Petter Ankarblom (musical director).
