Entertainment company 2Entertain is ending its collaboration with the company that will run Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg from 2026 to 2030. The announcement also means that Claes Malmberg is stepping down as artistic director.
Claes Malmberg was without a mobile phone during the recording of the Kanal 5 programme "Over the Atlantic" and only when he stepped ashore did he receive the news that he had been fired.
When I came ashore after "Over the Atlantic" I had received an email saying that I was no longer artistic director, Claes Malmberg tells Aftonbladet.
Malmberg had already planned the 2027 performance and contacted an actor at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. When he returned home, the play had been changed and the actor had been removed.
