Entertainment company 2Entertain is ending its collaboration with the company that will operate Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg from 2026 to 2030. The announcement also means that Claes Malmberg is stepping down as artistic director.
Claes Malmberg was without a mobile phone during the recording of the Kanal 5 programme "Över Atlanten" and only when he landed in Brazil did he receive the message that "the collaboration had broken down".
Malmberg had already planned the 2027 performance and contacted an actor at the Dramaten. When he returned home, the play had been changed and the actor had been removed.
