Two models from the car manufacturer Citroën are being recalled. It concerns the models C3 and DS3 manufactured between 2009 and 2015. The reason is that the airbags in the cars have been found to deteriorate over time, which can entail "very serious risks for drivers and passengers", according to a press release.

According to the car manufacturer, all affected vehicles must now be submitted to an authorized Citroën workshop for immediate action. The company writes that it entails serious safety risks to continue driving a vehicle that is covered by the recall.

Correcting the fault is free of charge, announces Citroën.
