The two-time Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan was elected on Saturday as chairman of the trade union Directors Guild of America, DGA, reports Deadline.
The "Oppenheimer" director comments on the appointment by saying it is "one of the greatest honors of my career". After the film, London-born Christopher Nolan was knighted at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Nolan's new film, "Odysséen" with, among others, Matt Damon, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway in the cast, is expected to premiere in the summer of 2026.
