The internationally renowned correspondent and host will scale back her daily program “Amanpour” on CNN International to once a week from the beginning of 2027. The program will then end at the end of May, and the following month, Amanpour, 68, will leave the channel.
"After many months of consideration and some sleepless nights, I have decided to part ways with CNN - my partner of 43 amazing years," she wrote in a statement.
Amanpour is also ending her program "Amanpour and Company" on PBS, but will continue hosting the podcast "The Ex Files" with her ex-husband, former US diplomat Jamie Rubin.
