The 34-year-old Eriksen has not played since collapsing during Denmark's international match against Ukraine in Odense in June. It was the second time the Dane has collapsed during international play - the first was during Euro 2021 when he suffered a cardiac arrest and subsequently had a defibrillator fitted.
After the latest incident, Eriksen quickly said that he was feeling well and that the help from the implanted defibrillator "has a great impact on both me and my family."
The former Manchester United and Tottenham player signed for Wolfsburg last summer and had a contract until June 2027.
