The woman was taking out the trash outside the star's house in California when she was attacked by his 90-kilogram guard dog, a Caucasian Shepherd, Billboard reports.
The cleaner was seriously injured in the attack and has been forced to undergo several surgeries, including on her face and arm.
The woman says she has not been able to return to her job as a cleaner, partly because she lacks sufficient strength in her arm to perform the tasks, and partly because of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after the dog attack.
After the attack, Chris Brown left the scene without calling for help. According to Brown, the dog was a guard dog and not his personal pet.
