Chinese companies' profits rose 15.8 percent in March year-on-year, according to official Chinese statistics. In the first two months of the year, the profit growth rate was 15.2 percent.
Companies sensitive to commodity prices did not keep up with the upward trend. However, profits for fiber-optic manufacturers more than tripled, and other electronics companies also saw large profit increases.
