Chinese cars are literally flooding Europe and much of the rest of the world. In August alone, the number rose 67 percent to 890,000. And so far this year, more Chinese cars have been exported than in all of 2025, when the number reached 6.2 million cars, according to the Chinese automobile association Caam.
In China, however, car sales are plummeting by 25.6 percent.
