The statement came in connection with Russia's Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, visiting China on Sunday.
The two ministers are said to have discussed, among other things, the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, as well as the situation in Iran.
Lavrov has also visited North Korea over the weekend, which has promised "unconditional support" for the war of aggression in Ukraine. China, which, among other things, has good trade relations with Russia, has never condemned the Russian invasion of the neighboring country and describes itself as "neutral" in relation to the war.
Chinese representatives have repeatedly showered fine words over the relationship with Russia to the outside world, and have, among other things, called it a "deep-seated friendship".
