”The Chinese mission in Israel reminds Chinese citizens to leave the country as soon as possible by land”, it says in a statement, where one recommends taking themselves out via the border to Jordan.
The embassy makes the assessment that the conflict ”continues to escalate” and notes that ”civilian infrastructure has been affected, more and more civilians are being injured and the security situation is deteriorating”.
The appeal comes after Poland, Lithuania and the Czech Republic in recent days announced that their citizens will be evacuated from Israel.
The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to Israel since Saturday.
