China lowers pork tariffs

China eases pork tariffs against the EU.

Earlier this fall, China announced tariffs on pork from the EU of up to 60 percent. Now, the Asian giant has softened the fees to a range of between 5 and 20 percent, according to the Ministry of Commerce's website.

The duties are a response to the EU's tariffs on Chinese electric cars, among other things.
