Norwegian police contacted Swedish authorities during the night, saying the bus, which was stolen in Oslo, was heading towards Sweden. It was stopped at junction 91 in Stenungsund, and the boy was taken into custody, the police wrote on their website.
This is not the first time the boy in question has gotten behind the wheel. In November, he stole another bus and drove around for three hours in the Stavanger area, NRK reported.
After Tuesday's bus trip, a report of illegal driving has been filed and the Norwegian bus is being seized by the police.
Police are said to have been in contact with Norwegian authorities, and the boy will be handed over to his guardians in Norway.
