16 people, including at least three children, have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, according to the Hamas-controlled territory's civil defense.
Several of the people killed were in al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, according to the civil defense. Israel has called al-Mawasi a humanitarian zone but simultaneously bombed the site.
Israel's military has not commented on the reports yet, saying it is gathering information.
The military stated earlier on Sunday that it had hit more than 100 terrorist targets across Gaza" over the past two days.
