In total, 15 people died when a boat capsized on a lake in northeastern Ghana on Sunday.
Most of the deceased were children, according to local authorities. The accident occurred in the Oti region.
"Tragically, eleven of the deceased were children aged two to 14 years, five were boys and six were girls", states Ghana's maritime authority in a statement.
