The 42-year-old artist was forced to cancel his tour due to what was then described as an "ailment."
Glover said that it was actually a stroke, in front of an audience at a gig in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The stroke was discovered after a performance in New Orleans, Louisiana, last fall.
"I had a really bad headache in Louisiana, but I still did the show. I couldn't see very well, so when we went to Houston I went to the hospital and the doctor said, 'You've had a stroke,'" Glover told the audience, according to the magazine.
