A child died in an apartment fire in Gothenburg over the weekend. A person who was detained after the fire has now been released, the Swedish Prosecution Authority says.
"There is no longer any suspicion of a crime. The police have conducted a thorough investigation that indicates that the fire was not arson. This is an extremely tragic accident," said prosecutor Tomas Engman in a press release.
