US Energy Secretary Chris Wright, who is visiting the country, says the total of eight agreements represents "tens of billions of dollars in investment."
Earlier on Wednesday, Chevron announced another deal with Venezuela worth $7 billion in investments to double its oil production in the country.
Wright's trip to Venezuela comes after Washington and Caracas recently signed a controversial agreement that gives the United States control over about a fifth of Venezuela's oil resources.
Critics accuse interim President Delcy Rodríguez, who has ruled the country since the United States attacked Venezuela in January and deposed former President Nicolás Maduro, of giving away the country's natural resources.
