A concert version of the musical "Chess" will be staged at Dalhalla in Rättvik next summer. Philip Jalmelid, Tuva B Larsen, Peter Johansson, Malena Tuvung, and Loa Falkman will play the lead roles.
The concerts on August 8 and 9 will be performed in the original language, English, under the direction of Anders Eljas, who arranged and orchestrated the world premiere of the work in 1984.
"Chess", written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Tim Rice, was first performed in concert version and released on record in 1984 before the musical had its world premiere in London in 1986.
