Chelsea is clear for the FA Cup final after a semifinal win over Liverpool – with a decisive goal in extra time.
It was the London team that started the match best, but Liverpool took the lead after 20 minutes of play. The equalizer came in extra time in the first half.
The match looked set to go to extra time, but in the 94th minute, Agnes Beever-Jones nodded in the decisive 2–1 goal.
The three Swedish players, Chelsea's Johanna Rytting-Kaneryd and Nathalie Björn, as well as Liverpool's Cornelia Kapocs, all started from the beginning.
In the final at Wembley, Chelsea will face the winner of Manchester City and Manchester United. That semifinal will be decided on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea has won five FA Cup titles, the most recent one in 2023.
The final will be played on May 18.
