Chelsea extended their Women's Super League points streak to 33 consecutive games when they drew 1-1 in the London derby against Arsenal.

The points haul is, according to the BBC, a near-record in the WSL. And Chelsea remain as league leaders.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd had a shot on the post in the second minute of the match and she then passed for Chelsea's 1–0 goal in the ninth minute.

Arsenal's Swedish striker Stina Blackstenius had her goal disallowed for handball, but Alyssia Russo equalised in the 89th minute.

Swedish club Manchester United unexpectedly lost to Aston Villa 0-1. Neither Fridolina Rolfö, who played from the start and was substituted, nor Swedish substitutes Julia Zigiotti Olme and Anna Sandberg managed to ensure that United scored any goals.

It was United's first loss of the season.
