The government in Chechnya is warning of a Ukrainian drone attack.
The leader of the Russian region, Ramzan Kadyrov, says that a drone was shot down over Grozny around midnight, on Thursday morning. It was allegedly on its way to a facility belonging to the Chechen Akhmat forces, which have participated in the Russian invasion war in Ukraine.
Four people were injured on the ground, according to Kadyrov's unverified account, which was posted on social media.
The drone attack is counted among a total of 16 attacks against Russia in a morning report from the military in Moscow.
This is the second time this month that this particular facility in Grozny has been attacked.
