"It's about taking a seat, owning the space and enjoying the chaos. If someone thinks it's too much - then you're doing it right," Perrelli said in a statement.
During Saturday's semi-final in Gothenburg, Melodifestivalen legend Charlotte Perrelli will take the stage with Gina Dirawi to give "a lesson in schlager diva", SVT said.
The song was written by Jonas Jurström and Gina Dirawi.
Perrelli most recently served as an interlude at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in 2024. She has previously served as both a presenter and a guest artist at Melodifestivalen. In 2016, she also paid tribute to pop divas with lyrics by Edward af Sillén in "Här står jag".
Perrelli has won Melodifestivalen twice, in 1999 with "Tusen och en natt" and in 2008 with "Hero". The former also made her the winner of that year's Eurovision Song Contest in Israel, and the song was inducted into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame in 2020.
