Lil Nas X was accused of assaulting police officers while walking naked through the streets of Los Angeles last August. According to the judge, the charges can now be dropped if he completes the treatment program he was granted and complies with all laws for the next two years.
"I'm grateful. Just very grateful," the artist told Rolling Stone magazine after the hearing, adding that it "could have been a lot worse."
The charges relate to violence against an official and violent resistance. The crimes are considered serious, and the artist could have faced a prison sentence.
