During the Easter weekend, a large motor show is taking place at Elmia in Jönköping. In connection with it, chaos and brawls have broken out where people have gathered.
On Good Friday evening, the police took about 15 people into custody for drunk driving and disorderly conduct. They also handled several cases of assault.
During the evening of Easter Sunday, the commotion increased. Police task force leader Andreas Fyhr estimates that 8,000 people were present, many of them young people, and the level of drunkenness was generally very high.
There has been a fire in a caravan; people have jumped into cars; some have set off rockets and firecrackers, Fyhr told Expressen on Sunday morning.
